      With over 10 years of auction experience, and three generations totaling over 80 years in the automotive industry, this group is not short on industry knowledge and expertise.

 

  General Manager - Todd Givant

     Growing up in the automotive industry gives Todd indispensable insight to our Wholesale Auto Auction. After his time as an NCAA athlete in basketball and graduating of the University of Iowa, Todd gained experience in high-level sales and public relations.  He left his prestigious position for the opportunity presented to him here at Des Moines Auto Auction.  Todd's life and work experiences give him a unique and valuable insight into this company.

 

   Office Manager - Kate Schmidt

     Kate comes to us with a range of experience.  She has been an office manager on corporate construction sites, worked in transportation logistics, and accounting for the Mayo Clinic just to name a few.  Outside overseeing the office, Kate is also in charge of all things technological.  Feel free to contact Kate with any billing or fiscal questions.

 

  Assistant Office Manager - Jennifer Gomez

     Jennifer comes to us with prior auction experience and is a valued part of our team.  Jennifer has over five years auction experience and knowledge of multiple areas of the industry.  Contact Jennifer for any of the following:  Transportation, Titles, Dealer Registration, and Customer Service questions.

 

      Dealer Representative - Jami Schnoebelen

     Jami joins our team from the customer side of the auction industry.  Jami is the former General Manager  of Wrench -n- Go and our newest Dealer Representative.  Jami has 18 years in the automotive industry plus she brings to us the unique and valuable perspective of the customer.  Jami is the one you are looking for if you want to reserve numbers, give floors, have a vehicle detailed, or for any of your dealer needs.  As Al's daughter and Todd's sister we are blessed to grow this family owned and operated company.

      Dealer Representative - Julie DeMarce

     Julie returns to us after a brief hiatus in the retail side of our industry.  Julie brings with her valuable knowledge and experience.  We are excited to welcome her back.  As your joint Dealer Representatives, Jami and Julie will be working in tandem to fulfill your requests for reservations, floors, IF bids, and many other dealer needs.

 

    Gatehouse Attendant - Janet Cunningham

     Janet started with us as sale day staff and quickly progressed to an indispensible part of our team.  You are likely to find Janet at the gatehouse checking vehicles in or out or around the lot doing one of her many duties.  Keep your eyes open though, because her knowledge of sale day workings could put her on the block or helping in the office at any given time.
